Liza Leeds – President, Internet Strategist/Creative Director
Liza is the heart and soul of StorygemsMedia, with years of experience in strategic marketing, consulting, and technical production across many digital platforms.

Before she founded StorygemsMedia, Liza began her career as a successful advertising agency television producer, where she produced a number of award-winning spots for clients including Nike, Saturn, Chrysler, Anheiser Bush and Taco Bell. She has won some of the most prestigious awards in the advertising industry, including several Clio awards and a Cannes’ Golden Lion.

As new media began to explode, Liza discovered her innate ability and passion for telling a story using multiple technologies. She embraced the rapidly changing face of technology, developing video games and complex special effects. She was a natural, progressing into web based e-learning and website development and now, over ten years later, has mastered the many forms of digital communications. The winning combination of her creativity, skill, and marketing expertise resulted in the birth of StorygemsMedia.

Wendi Gilbert – Executive Producer
Wendi’s production experience covers the full spectrum from radio to television to film to digital media. After graduating from Northwestern University as a radio/television/film major, she began her career as an assistant advertising producer at Ogilvy & Mather in New York. Working her way up the corporate ladder, she was eventually named the youngest Vice-President in Ogilvy’s history and as a senior producer of national television commercials, her clients included clients American Express, Pepperidge Farm & Hershey’s.

After moving to San Francisco, Wendi continued her advertising career as a free-lance producer for the major San Francisco agencies. She and her husband, Paul, then created Heart At Work Productions, a high-end video production business with clients such as Charles Schwab and Coca-Cola, as well as non-profit organizations like the Yosemite Fund. During the dot.com era, Wendi created and built the production department for Tonic360, one of the first digital agencies in the Bay Area.

While head of Marketing & Social Outreach at the Life Balance Institute, Wend teamed up with Liza Leeds of StorygemsMedia, to create three uniquely branded websites. She also managed all of the Institute’s social media platforms. Now, Wendi has joined forces with Liza to work directly with clients and oversee media projects.

Wendi’s skill set ranges from hiring video and film crews, creating budgets and timelines, coordinating and keeping track of the myriad of details, internet research, website supervision and most of all, deftly managing a diverse group of individuals associated with each project. Her clients not only appreciate her experience and talent, but point to her natural enthusiasm and people skills as invaluable assets.

Wendi has that rich combination of professionalism and personality. She will not only expertly manage your project, but ensure that you also have fun in the process.
